Our Story
Kerala Spices Homestay is a family-run property nestled in the lush spice-growing region of Kumily, just 2 km from the Periyar Tiger Reserve. Our home is surrounded by cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg plants — many of them hand-tended by our family for generations.
We opened our doors to travellers because we love sharing the authentic Kerala experience — the slow mornings over filter coffee, the home-cooked meals passed down through family recipes, the walks through our spice garden, and the quiet proximity to one of India’s most beautiful national parks.
